 Science 9 | Solar System Exploration 

EU9.1

Inquire into the motion and characteristics of astronomical bodies in our solar system and the universe.
Students will meet the above Course Outcome by participating in a Solar System Collaboration activity.  Each student will be assigned an solar system object to research.  On Tuesday, October 29th, each student will share their information with the group, and provide a poster to add to a map of the solar system.

 Science 10E | Exam Preparation 

Students will use today's class to prepare for tomorrow's Motion Exam.

 E. Science 20 | Ethnobotany Inquiry

Examine the role plants play in an ecosystem, including the ways in which humans use plants.
In preparation for our Field Experience to Brightwater on Monday, October 28th, students will investigate plants that may be found in this ecosystem.

 Science 10 | Motion Exam 

Students will provide evidence toward meeting the following Course Outcomes by writing the Motion Exam.

SCI10-FM2Investigate and represent the motion of objects that travel at a constant speed in a straight line.
SCI10-FM3Investigate and represent the motion of objects that undergo acceleration.
SCI10-FM4Explore the relationship between force and motion for objects moving in one and two dimensions.
