 Science 9 | Creation of the Universe 

EU9.2
Analyze scientific explanations of the formation and evolution of our solar system and the universe.
EU9.3
Examine how various cultures, past and present, including First Nations and Métis, understand and represent astronomical phenomenon.
Students will begin the following research piece which will address the two listed outcomes:

Balloon Car Races will occur tomorrow.  Today . . .

Investigate and represent the motion of objects that travel at a constant speed in a straight line.
Students will begin to gain knowledge toward the above Course Outcome using the following documents:

Assess the importance of maintaining healthy water for humans and the environment.

 Science 10 | Balloon Cars 

SCI10-FM1

Explore the development of motion-related technologies and their impacts on self and society.
Students will test and modify their balloon cars.  Reminder that the balloon cars must:

1.  Be propelled only by air escaping a balloon or balloons
2.  Be able to travel a straight, three meter course in the shortest time possible
3.  Travel on at least two wheels which rotate with the forward motion of the car

Today - Modification and Test Day
Tomorrow - Race Day
